About AMC Engineering College – A brief profile
AMC Engineering College is a part of AMC-City Group of Institutions which is spread over 56 acres campus on Bannerghatta Main Road. The Group was founded by
Dr. K.R. Paramahamsa MBA, Ph.D D.Litt, a well known educationist who has been spearheading this noble enterprise under the banner of “Paramahamsa Foundation Trust”. The vision and mission of the group had been to impart quality education at an affordable cost. The college is based on high quality learning and skills for all learners where professional excellence, vocational excellence, routes and academic excellence are valued in equal measures.
The college was established in the year 1999 under AMC Banner of Paramahamsa foundation trust; the establishment has carved a niche for itself as a vibrant institution that facilitates contemporary learning and character building. The College is headed by Dr. T.N. Sreenivasa M.E, Ph.D. To add feathers to the crown of AMC, students have bagged many ranks in VTU examinations. About the Department
Established in the year 2004, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering offers bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. A post graduate programme in M.Tech - Power Systems Engineering started in the year 2013.
The Department grew with time, reflecting the needs of a changing society and established new areas of teaching and research in electrical engineering.
